This piece captures the vibrant urban landscapes of Taipei as seen from the heights of Yangmingshan, a mountain located in northern Taipei. Positioned between nature and city, the music conveys both the serenity of the mountains and a distant view of Taipei’s rhythm as it transitions through the day. The music drifts through four sections—Dawn, Noon, Dusk, and Midnight—inviting listeners to experience Taipei’s dynamic shifts from sunrise to nightfall. This composition reflects the subtle tension between the mountain and the city, capturing the emotions and memories of a composer rooted in Taipei. Through music, it seeks to convey the heartbeat of this ever-changing city, inviting listeners to feel the unique pulse of Taipei from afar.
